Vintage Cars: 1956 Dodge Coronet, 1956 dodge coronet, chrysler products


Question
Trips to the local library have not helped me get information on what options were available,cost of car,number of Coronets  made. Where can I find such information. My vin no. is 35103505. I would appreciate any advice.

Production numbers on 1950s Chrysler products are hard to come by, as most manufacturers then didn't think it necessary to keep track of really detailed information.  Unfortunately, Chrysler was one of the worst offenders.  However, you should check out the following sites:

There are forums on both where you can post your question and hopefully get a response.  Please make sure you give them a detailed description of the car, as the Coronet name applied to most Dodge models.  They'll need to know if it's a 2 or 4-door; sedan, hardtop, wagon or convertible; a plain Coronet or Coronet Lancer, Royal Lancer, Custom Royal or Custom Royal Lancer.
