QuestionI have been searching for (OEM)seat belts for my 1971 Buick Skylark Custom 2dr. HT with bench seats (front seat is split back W/fold down arm rest)for some time. I've gone through local sources, Hemmings, eBay and Google with no luck. I've contacted many salvage yards but no go. Any suggestions as where else I might try will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
AnswerI had a 72 GS for a while, and can tell you that as far as I could see, the belts are exactly the same for all GM cars of the period, even bigger or smaller ones.
I am pretty sure you can get belts for a Camaro or Chevelle.

Doesn't look like these have the chrome or shiny GM emblem though like my GS had.

I also see lots of cars being parted out, and belts can sometimes survive looking pretty good, since most people didn't use them much back then.
