  How can I find out the ownership/repair/odometer history of a 1965 Ford Mustang Classic.

Answer
I know of no state in the nation that kept track of this sort of data 40 years ago, and it's each states individual motor-vehicle department that would be the source of this sort of information.  If this is a vehicle you're looking to purchase, can the current owner provide any documentation?
