I have a 1949 Chrysler that has some numbers on the body of the door and they are70758622 ..These numbers don't match the title an I have the car sold to someone in Canada. But can't transport the car with the numbers on the frame of the door. Can you tell me what these numbers are for?
I would like an answer as soon as possible if you can.

Thank you.,

Answer
Without being able to see these numbers in person, it's really hard to say.  It might be a serial number, or a production number for just the body itself.  If my memory is correct, most Chrysler bodies back then were actually made by a company called Briggs (no longer in business), who shipped the completed body to a Chrysler plant for final assembly.  So, it might be just a Briggs number.  Have you tried to contact DaimlerChrysler?  A lot of automobile manufacturers maintain historical departments, or they may be able to refer you to someone with detailed info on late 40's Chrysler models.
