Kansas Bill of Sale Form: How to Get One, Fill It Out, and the Required Information

If you want to sell a  vehicle in Kansas, a bill of sale will be required in order to complete the transaction with the buyer. A bill of sale, along with the vehicle's certificate of title, will be needed by the buyer of the vehicle before he or she can have the title registered in his or her name. In lieu of a standard vehicle bill of sale, you can use the Kansas Department of Revenue - Division of Vehicle's (the Kansas version of the DMV) Form TR-11 "AFFIDAVIT OF PURCHASE PRICE" to document the transaction of a car purchase between the buyer and seller. • Date of the transaction
• The odometer reading of the vehicle
• The sales price for the vehicle

In addition to the required information, you may want to consider a bill of sale form that clearly lays out the terms and conditions for any warranty (or lack thereof) offered on the vehicle.
