Glamping in the Tree of Life Organics Horse Box

Have you ever wanted to go glamping in a horsebox? Yes, we are talking about a trailer that transports horses. It might not sound appealing at first, but Tree of Life Organics in the UK has turned this utilitarian space into something special.

They’ve taken a traditional horsebox and turned it into a gorgeous and comfortable space perfect for two people who want to spend the night on their organic farm.

The horsebox is located in a small wooded area in the Cornish countryside. Its interior has a cozy seating area with a wood burning stove to relax by on chilly evenings.  It has a small kitchen with an oven and a gas cooker. The cupboards are fully stocked with the utensils, pots, and pans that you may need. As an added bonus, the owners will give you a free box of organic eggs, fruits, and vegetables when you arrive. They also provide towels, bed linens, and more.

The horsebox has its own private garden space where you can lay back and listen to the birds singing in the trees. The garden is has bird nest boxes and feeders, so birdwatchers are in for a real treat. There’s even a space to bring extra guests who want to go camping. Human guests only though — no pets allowed at Tree of Life.

At the horsebox, you get a chance to experience the joys of simple country living at its best. Wake up in the morning and enjoy the beautiful sunrise view across the hay meadow. Later on you can take a walk to the Hayman Reserve, a small wildlife reserve, just a short distance away. The area has a ton of old trackways, bridle paths, and footpaths begging to be explored.

St. Agnes and Perranport are only a few miles away. Both towns offer wonderful beaches where you can go surfing, walking, and exploring. If you are looking for adult fun as night falls, the Miners Arm Pub is just a short 10 minute walk away. Taste their real Cornish ale and fill your stomach with hearty foods before you retire to your bed. The perfect end to a perfect day.
