Many Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including the Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL, come equipped with a headlamp washer system that will clean the headlamps with a high-pressure water jet and a wiper. This will wash off any dirt, debris, or insects that may have been splattered against the headlamp. The headlamp washer switch, also referred to as the headlamp wiper switch, is used to turn the headlamp washer system on and off.
Open the driver's side door and get into driver's seat.
Insert the keys into ignition of the vehicle and turn it on.
Reach to the left of the steering wheel and locate the three buttons below the air vent. The top-right button is the headlamp washer switch.
Push the button in to activate the headlamp washer system. Press it once more to deactivate the headlamp washer system.
