A rocker panel is a metal panel that can be attached to the lower side of nearly all vehicles. Installing a rocker panel on your GMC vehicle is incredibly simple, as the rocker panel already comes with adhesive. The only preparation needed is cleaning the portion of the vehicle where the rocker panel will be placed in order to properly secure it. It shouldn’t take more than ten minutes to install a rocker panel on your GMC vehicle.
Use the acetone and a rag to clean the bottom portion of the vehicle where the rocker panel will go. Make sure to remove all dirt and debris.
Lay out all of the rocker panel pieces to ensure that you will place the correct pieces on the vehicle.
Remove the back covering from the rocker panel and place it onto the truck with the adhesive side facing the truck.
Use a roller to firmly press the rocker panel onto the truck. This will make sure that the rocker panel does not fall off.
