Dashboard lights on a Nissan Altima Coupe allow you to keep track of your speed and fuel level. If some of your dashboard lights blow out, you should replace them immediately. The task can be done in your garage or driveway and requires just a household tool.
Drop the steering column so that the steering wheel is in its lowest position, which will allow you to gain access to the instrument panel.
Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the bezel screws that are around the instrument panel. Keep the screws in a safe place. Slide the bezel out of the vehicle.
Remove the screws that hold the instrument panel in place. Disconnect the instrument connector and withdraw the panel.
Replace the blown-out dashboard lights with new ones, turning the bulbs clockwise until they firmly lock in place. Reattach the instrument panel and bezel by following the removal steps in reverse.
Start the engine and check the new dashboard lights.
