How to Replace a Titan Headlight

The Nissan Titan is a full-size pickup truck introduced by the Japanese automaker in 2004. Nissan has made it easy for novice car owners to perform maintenance tasks on the truck, designing in easy access to components. Replacing the headlights requires only a screwdriver and replacement 9006 bulbs, which you can find at any auto-parts store. The entire process takes no more than 15 minutes.

Things You'll Need

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Paper towels
  • Replacement bulb
  • Park the Titan on a level surface and turn the steering wheel all the way toward the side of the light you are replacing.

  • Crawl under the vehicle and remove the screw in the fender well directly behind the headlight. The fender liner can now be easily pulled back, allowing access to the bulbs.

  • Disconnect the wiring plug from the old bulb. Rotate the bulb counterclockwise to remove it. Install the new bulb in and rotate it clockwise to lock it. Connect the wiring plug to the new bulb.

  • Place the fender line in its original position and reinstall the screw.
