How to Remote Start a 2007 Yukon Denali

The Yukon Denali is among many General Motors models that give owners the capability to sync or purchase remote start systems for their vehicles. This option is particularly useful in regions where heating or cooling the vehicle before entering is desired. The 2007 Yukon Denali's available remote start system allows owners to start the SUV for as long as 10 minutes at a time, or to turn off the engine starter from outside the Yukon.

  • Lock the car doors with your remote by pressing and releasing the lock button until the locks cycle.

  • Press and hold the starter button on the remote until the car's engine turns on. The engine will then remain running for 10 minutes.

  • Press and hold the button again during the 10 minutes to turn off the engine.

  • Press the Lock button again after 10 minutes and press and hold the starter button to start the car if you would like it to run an additional 10 minutes.

  • Enter your car and turn the car on with your ignition key to start the car while the auto-starter is running.
