2002 Cavalier Exhaust Pipe Size

While the Cavalier was ultimately destined to be replaced by the Cobalt, it did have one of the best runs in economy-car history. At various points a cult favorite and the best-selling vehicle in GM's lineup, many used Cavaliers have gone on to live second lives in the hands of car enthusiasts and modifiers.

Exhaust Tubing

  • The base Cavalier used tubing with 1 7/8 inch outside diameter. Sport models used 2 1/4-inch tubing. Many aftermarket systems use the Sport-sized 2 1/4-inch tubing, but some go as large as 2 1/2-inch outside diameter.
