How to Troubleshoot No Stereo or DVD Player on the 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

The 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan comes with a stereo DVD package option, allowing you to view videos on pull-down LCD screens on the ceiling in front of the rear passenger seating. If the stereo and DVD player are not turning on, there may be a blown fuse, preventing the system receiving power. If this happens, you must replace the fuse.

Things You'll Need

  • Replacement fuse
  • Remove the key form the vehicle's ignition, then access the fuse box, directly under the steering wheel.

  • Slide out the fuse designated for the stereo system. Although it states this on the fuse box, you may have trouble reading the actual print. For the specific location check your 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan's user manual.

  • Insert the replacement fuse into the open slot on the fuse box, then close the fuse box and push it back under the steering wheel.

  • Power on the ignition, and both the stereo and DVD player should turn on, ready for use.
