Most people like to have a drink in the car, especially kids. And it seems like almost every time the drink gets spilled, it soaks into your fabric interior causing a giant stain. Liquid stains are the more difficult stains to remove from fabric interior because they take a long time to dry. With a little patience you can remove the stains, however, and your vehicle will be good as new.
Blot the stain with paper towels to prepare the stain for cleaning. Continue blotting until you have removed as much og the liquid as you can with the paper towels. For cleaning you will need a vehicle upholstery cleaner. You can find many different options at your local auto parts store. Spray the upholstery cleaner onto the stain and allow it to soak into the fabric for about 10 minutes.
Take an old toothbrush and scrub the stained area with it. Scrub in a circular motion from the outside of the stain toward the inside of the stain. Scrubbing from the inside out can result in the stain becoming larger. Use medium pressure when scrubbing. You want to remove the stain without damaging your fabric. Scrub over the whole stain once and then blot with a clean white towel. The towel should pick up the cleaner and the liquid from the stain.
Continue blotting the stain until you can no longer pick up any liquid. Spray the stain again and scrub it with the toothbrush one more time. Use a clean towel again to pick up the cleaner and the stain. Keep blotting until your towel comes up clean.
Allow the area to air dry or use a cool fan or blow dryer to dry the area. It may take a few hours for the area to dry completely.
