How to Wash With Waterless Car Wash

Quick and saves water, a waterless car wash solution lets you clean your vehicle without the hassle of using a water hose, bucket and soap. The solution is a concentrate that breaks down dirt, surface dust, fingerprints as well as other debris on your automobile's surfaces. When washing your vehicle using a waterless car wash, it is important to work in sections to keep the concentrate from drying on your vehicle's surface. You also want to work from top to bottom to keep any loose debris from contaminating clean areas.

Things You'll Need

  • Waterless car wash
  • 4 or more microfiber towels
  • Latex gloves
  • Park your vehicle in an area out of direct sunlight. Sunlight will dry the waterless car wash solution too quickly.

  • Spray 2 to 3 tbsp. of waterless car wash onto a microfiber towel to get the towel wet. Wear latex gloves to keep your hands clean and dry.

  • Spray the roof of automobile evenly with the waterless car wash. Spraying too much will waste the solution. Wipe your automobile's roof immediately in a circular motion with the wet microfiber towel. Wipe the roof clean with a dry microfiber towel.

  • Spray the hood, trunk or other section of your automobile evenly with the waterless car wash. Fold and re-wet the microfiber towel then wipe that section of your automobile immediately in a circular motion. When the towel becomes too soiled, use a new or clean one.

  • Wipe the section clean with a dry microfiber towel. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each section including the tires, windows and any trim.
