How to Install a Cabin Air Filter in a Nissan Sentra

The Nissan Sentra uses an in-cabin microfilter to restrict the entry of airborne dust and pollen into the passenger compartment. Nissan recommends replacing the cabin air filter on the Sentra every year or after each 15,000 miles driven. If the Sentra is often driven under extreme conditions, such as in dusty environments or around heavy traffic, the microfilter becomes dirty quickly. A clean cabin air filter helps the air in the air conditioning system stay cleaner and improves air flow through the vents. The location of the filter varies depending on the model year.
