The Cummins 5.9 liter engine is also known as the Cummins L1 230 horsepower engine. It was featured on the Dodge Ram from 1998 to 2003. The engine is a part of the Cummins B-series of diesel and industrial piston engines. The engine was available with the five-speed manual, five-speed automatic and four-speed automatic transmissions.

Oil Torque Specs
