Fabricating brake lines isn’t rocket science. A bend, a flare, and a couple fasteners are really all it takes. But if you’ve even tried to bend a tight radius or make double inverted flares on stainless steel tubing, you know that the right tools and techniques can make or break the job. Recently, we found what’s become one the most coveted tools in the STREET RODDER Tech Center Tool Box in the form of Eastwood’s Pro Brake Tubing Flaring Tool. Not only can this thing handle the traditional 45-degree double flare on mild and stainless steel with ease, but it can also do those trick 37-degree AN flares as well. Perfectly, every time. That’s more than I can say about at least three different flaring tools currently in my toolbox at home!
