This is the Sharkwerks 997 GT3 Track Exhaust, designed, developed, and tested in-house at Sharkwerks' Northern California facility. Incorporating two lightweight stainless steel race mufflers (two pounds each) and 3-inch stainless piping, it's engineered to dramatically reduce weight at the rear (by about 57 pounds) and to deliver an aggressive, Cup-car-like sound. Installation is made easy through the use of CNC-machined stainless steel flanges; factory clamps and ceramic seals are retained for an OEM-grade seal at the header/catalyst junction. Combined with the recommended EVOMSit software, initial gains were measured at a 22-hp net gain and more peak torque, more than 10 lb-ft extra. Intended for off-road use only; for daily-driven street cars, Sharkwerks recommends its Bypass Exhaust system.
