Nokia N770 Internet Tablet
Wi-Fi is rad, no doubt about that, but trying to actually browse the Internet on a cell phone is a less-than-enjoyable experience. Enter the Nokia N770. Designed for the rise of the number of hotspots, you'll be able to make the most of the technology. Now you won't have to carry your laptop and look like a salaryman trying to solicit college girls online at Starbucks.Coming this fall for around $350.

Sony PlayStation 3
This year's gaming-console battle has officially started, setting the stage for what promises to be inflated prices and massive lines this Christmas. The Sony PlayStation 3 comes in strong with a sleek, new case. The company is eluding to Bluetooth, backwards compatibility, memory sticks, and CompactFlash capabilities. It should be a fun New Year's alone in my room replaying Tomb Raider. It'll probably only take half the time, which is still two weeks.

Iriver H10 6GB Lounge Gray
It seems like more MP3 players hit the market everyday. I'm beginning to think the trend is going to be bigger than the 8-track madness of the '70s (that's what people said at least; I was 3). The newest from the iriver folks is a 6GB unit that allows you to view JPG images. It also supports MP3, WMA and ASF formats and has an onboard FM tuner. The most impressive feature is the 180-hour battery, which will help you finish your community service picking up trash from the side of the free on one charge.

Dell XPS Generation 2
We've always kind of mocked computers geared toward gamers because they were not only heavy but also about as subtle as a NASCAR T-shirt. Dell silences cynical bastards like us with its new portable gaming rig. The cool case is relatively lightweight and has enough power to school posers in the Doom chat rooms. Dell doesn't spit on its fans like the people who made Starship Troopers 2 did; the XPS still comes with disco lights in colors of your choosing. Roughnecks!

Microsoft Xbox 360
The old Xbox was a great gaming console, but it really looked like some kid designed it after drinking a six-pack of Mountain Dew. The new Xbox is more on par with the times and is just as promising.

Lexar JumpDrive TouchGuard
Fingerprint technology makes you feel like a spy. Instead of carrying your homework around on your JumpDrive, swiping your fingerprint to access it almost makes it feel valuable.

Casio Exilim Pro EX-P505
Video and photography has been slow to get things together. The new Casio Exilim camera is about as close as you can get to a fully intergraded camera that will actually take good images and record video at a watchable quality. With a 5x optical zoom and 22 Best Shot settings, you won't have to look like a tourist at Disneyland with 15 cameras around your neck.

Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 2
First off it's an MP3 player-it just looks like a spaceship. The same people who made Apple's cool-looking speakers a couple years ago put out the BeoSound 2. With superior sound quality you'd expect for the price, this isn't a gadget you're going to let your girl take with her on the bus on her way to work.

Sony Vaio VGN-T250/L
As an avid 2NR reader, you're probably a highly successful businessman making a high six-figure salary and spending most of your time flying to foreign countries to cement million-dollar investment deals. Because you spend so much time in first class sipping champagne and eating truffles, a lightweight, sleek-looking laptop is a necessity to make sure things are running smoothly at the main office.

Prismiq Media Player
Touted as the "strongest sub-$250 digital audio player" the newest offering from Prismiq lives up to the label. With the ability to stream digital audio, Internet radio, photos and video you'll be one step closer to having the ideal Blade Runner existence.

Canon Selphy DS-700
My mom is still living in the '80s. She hasn't purposely avoided technology and doesn't have an aversion to it, she just doesn't grasp the concept that the old ways don't apply. A case in point: She asked me for an image of my girlfriend; I didn't have one, so I sent her an e-mail with an image I snagged off the Internet. Later that day, she called to say she couldn't see the image very well and wants a "photo." I wound up just buying her the Canon Selphy.

Sony Cyber Shot DSC-M1
I lost my last camera because I passed out in the back of a cab in Mexico after some back-alley dental work and too many inexpensive painkillers. While I was looking for a new camera and making sure my dental coverage didn't lapse again, I found the new Cyber Shot. With a bright 2.5-inch LCD screen, MPEG-4 video and 5-megapixel capability, it'll make everything better.
