If you haven't been following along, my S14 project started out with suspension consisting of Ohlins coilovers, Circuit Sports adjustable arms and Drift Speed high steering angle knuckles. Then the OEM brakes were scraped for larger Brembo calipers and EBC slotted rotors behind all four wheels. The only engine or go-fast part that I've done so far has been 5Zigen's new Super Lap exhaust. Now I'm going back to the chassis for some minor upgrades. There's no need for engine mods yet until I can get the chassis to handle the power.

Lower Front Brace
Ultra Racing offers more bars than Rikers. Everything from strut tower bars to under chassis bars are offered for all makes and models worldwide. One of the weak points on the 240SX chassis is the front lower brace. There are two main front OEM pieces that tie the tension rods, sway bar and front end together on a 240SX. Placing the Ultra Racing's front lower bar unifies the two OEM pieces together making the front end tighter and less likely to flex under heavy turns. Just about every 240SX has some sort of upgrade on their front lower brace.
C-Pillar Bar
You've probably seen plenty of cars driving around with c-pillar bars in their rear window. Yes, this is primarily an upgrade for cars with weak large openings via hatchback. But c-pillar bars can also help with coupes as well. Let's face it, the bar can't hurt and having some cool looking parts is a part of every build. Ultra Racing's C-pillar bar uses the seatbelt mounting points so no drilling or additional hardware was required. This is also one of the stronger points to bolt a bar in, being reinforced from the factory to withhold a seatbelt in case of an accident. Another unique feature is that Ultra Racing's bar is adjustable. Cars will flex as they age, and not all cars will age the same. Having this adjustment allows for precise fitment on any 240SX.
