William let us in on a simple and effective trick that involves using any sealed plastic bag to wrap/encase an oil filter prior to removal. Why a plastic bag, you ask? This allows the oil that comes oozing out of the filter and engine to pour into the bag rather than down your arms or onto the floor, creating a sanitary solution to an otherwise messy job.
