Dear Mini Truckin',
As an avid mini-trucker and participant in the sport/lifestyle, I read your magazine religiously. I am also a college student, and your magazine, along with trucks in general, is what keeps me going and motivated. I own a '91 Chevy S-10 XtraCab that I'm in the process of 'bagging and body-dropping, and I like to draw to give myself a visual depiction of what my truck will look like. Enclosed is a drawing of what my truck will look like when I'm fairly close to done with it (after the LT1 motor swap). I hope you can use my drawing in one of your future issues. Thanks so much.

You guys have an awesome magazine. I can always find useful inspiration throughout the pages. I can already feel the temperature changing here in Michigan, and it's getting closer to spring. I started cleaning up my 'bagged '98 S-Dime, kicking out all the rodents that have somehow found a way to sneak by the multiple mouse traps I set, luckily there's no major damage. I have a quick question concerning fuel cells. I bought a plastic fuel cell about a year ago and want to try and mount it in the back of my truck bed. Will I be able to use my stock fuel pump, or do I need to buy a new one? Also, how do I go about plumbing the fuel system? Any help is appreciated.

Since we're not sure exactly what kind of fuel cell you have, this is just general information. Most fuel cells contain a lower-mounted sump to attach your fuel lines, and in this instance, the headache-free way to go would be to use an aftermarket external fuel pump. Some people make the stock system work, but it's usually a bigger pain than it's worth. Good luck with the install, you'll soon be well on your way to touching pavement without draggin' a hole in the gas tank!   |   art Extraordinaire custom Truck Tranny Crossmembers

First of all, you guys have the best mag out! Second, I have a question for you. I have a '92 Toyota with a full airbag kit and four-link setup from FBI. The problem I'm having is that my transmission crossmember is keeping my framerails from laying on the ground. When I drag the truck, I drag only on the crossmember. Is there anybody that makes a relocated crossmember that will help my truck lay flat? I appreciate the help.

You are in luck. If you pick up the phone and call (877) 324-6464, you'll find someone on the other end who will be happy to ship a tranny crossmember right out to you. It's actually the same company that you got all your airbag parts from: FBI. They won't let you down.
