High-Strength Head Studs
Said to surpass current available standard head studs on the market in terms of tensile strength are Empire Diesel Performance’s chromoly-based units. Ultimate tensile strength is 270 to 300 kpsi (vs. 220 kpsi for competing products), depending on the application, and Empire claims they will not stretch.
