Auto Insurance Claims: casualty claim, claim adjuster, apologising

Question
My daughter had an accident.they lowballed her on her total loss claim her being 19 years old he was taking advantage of he i contacted the adjuster and told him i would be taking charge that she was not competent in dealing with such affairs and he could call ask her for permission to deal with me. He called her and told her that i said she was incompetent and that he would not stand for that from no one and that he would take that very serious. well i told him i thought what he did was unprofessional and way out of line and that i would not contact his supervisor if he would increase my settlement five hundred and meet me in the middle to settle the claim he did we settled. well what he had said to my daughter began to eat at her and effect her emotionally me and her had several arguments her self esteem began to diminish and things were said that could not be changed etc. so i notified his supervisor who reviewed the claim and forwarded me to his supervisor.who than called and apologised.I told her that my daughter neede counseling and had missed work because she was very sensitive and we wanted some compensation. she then told me that she reviewed the case she was sorry for what he had done but she was not going to negotiate so if i wanted to take legal action to forward my lawyer and legal documents to her legal document so i sent an offer of twenty five hundred and told her that they had already admitted to wrong doing and that was a fact not in dispute and if i hired legal rep. i would not settle period.that i was giving her one last chance to pay for the damages her rep caused my daughter.she sent me an email apologising again from the director office forwarding me to her casualty claim adjuster and said any obligation they had to that claim must be dealt with through that adjuster.what do you think is happening what should i do and do i have a law suit?

Answer
 Hello Josh,

I'm perplexed.  You have provided no details of the actual claim other than it was lowballed. Therefore, I am unable to comment on the merits of the claim settlement negotiations.

As for the issue with the adjuster, while perhaps he was rude, in my opinion you have no cause of action.  I am not an attorney, but I see no chance of your having a lawsuit.

Sorry
