Auto Insurance Claims: how much does full cover cover?, injury coverage, minimum liability

Question
hello i was involved in a car accident where i was 100% not guilty the lady that hit me said that she has full cover insurance. how much does it covers is there a limit even if its full cover? my medical bills are up to $100,000.00 and just want to to know if insurance will cover all or there is a limit. If there a limit approximately how much would the limit be? I been told that they have full cover but that it only covers $25,000 can that be true? thank you for answering.

Answer
George,

Depending on the State, it is completely possible that the limit is only $25000.00.  For example, it is only required to have $25000.00 for bodily injury coverage to any one person in any accident if you are in Texas.

There are minimum liability limits for each State, but one can purchase limits much higher, you would simply have to request the limits information from the carrier.

I hope this helps.
