Auto Insurance Claims: Claim for injuries, rotor cuff, better business bureau

Question
Last week a Nationally recognized moving truck company ran a stop sign and struck my car. I was transported via ambulance to the hospital of a head laceration. I sustained a 5-1/2-inch laceration to my forehead and scalp. I am bald. The left side of my head is bruised and swollen. My left side his bruised with a need for advise from an orthopetist, with therapy likely. My shoulder and rotor cuff are currently 25%, unable to lift my arm. My biggest concern is the huge cut and permanent scar to follow. The sutures and injury are as large as the seam on a softball, and directly above my right eyebrow. Can you tell me anything about what someone can expect as a settlement when a huge, visible scar is left on one's head? 2-inches of the scar can't be covered by a hat later on. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Bruce,

The value of your claim will depend on many things, such as, what is the prognosis on the shoulder and rotator cuff? Will the scar minimize over time? It will also depend on what state you are in as well as other factors.

You should visit a website: www.collisionwizard.com which is produced by the Better Business Bureau Video Series. This website was created by personal injury attornies. It will allow you to input the specifics of your accident, the car repair cost, your injuries and treatments. It will then provide a high and low range of value of your claim. It will also help you create a demand package for submission to the insurance company. And best of all it only costs $19.99 regardless of how long it takes to use it.

I hope this helps
