Question
i live in Michigan , i was backing up my car from work's parking lot when i hit the driver side doors of a car driving behind me . there was no police report involved , i have no insurance, the guy calls me back to say its costs 4000$ to fix his car, i can't pay him and he said he's going to make an insurance claim, what will that entail  as damages to me????

Answer
Hi,

He will be compensated from his insurance company. The insurance company will then sue you through what is known as subrogation for the $4k and all legal and court costs. Then unless you are on social security, your wages can be garnisheed, and you will have future credit problems unless this is handled.

The fact that you have no insurance is your fault and you should not be driving. Doesn't Michigan require insurance?

The fact that you have no money does not mean anything and you will be pursued.
