Auto Insurance Claims: Claim/harassment, losing sleep, claims investigator

Question
I am employed as an agent by an insurance company, i have comp only on my truck. My wife and I were driving on a back road when she swerved to miss a deer..we clipped the deer just a little and then went into the ditch and my damage was about $4,500. We have given 4 statements to various people in my company including one that I gave to my regional manager. It seems that the claims dept does not believe that we hit a deer and are now getting to where they are questioning my integrity. I finally withdrew the claim b/c they were not going to pay for it and we kept jumping thru hoops. The claims investigator said that i could withdraw it and it would be forgotten completely. I gave another statement and it seems like they are trying to say I was lying about it without coming out and saying it. Is this harassment and can I do anything about it? I just want to forget the whole thing and go on because I am losing sleep over this. Thanks.

Answer
Cade,

To answer your question "is there anything I can do" the answer is yes. You can file a lawsuit for the claim to get paid. If you truly believe in what occured, Payment would also be vindication of their view that the claim may be made up.

Otherwise, it seems a little difficult to un-ring this bell.
