Auto Insurance Claims: auto claim, auto claim, collision coverage

Question
you answered my initial question on 4/1/08. Basically I was out with a large group of people, gave permission for my car to be used. When I left my car stalled, with a small hole in my front end, and undercarriage damage, looks like they hit something in the road or a curb or median. I am so concerned that the insurance will not pay for the damages because I cannot supply the name or information of what happened to my car, because no one admitted to doing anything. I just want to be reassured that the claims adjustor will not need this information in order to pay my claim through my collision coverage.

Answer
Hi Tiffany,

There is no way to know exactly what the claim adjuster will ask you untill you call to report the claim. All you need to do is to say that you went out to the car and the damage was there. You have no idea how it happened. The will pay the claim. There is no reason they would not.
