Can illegal aliens be a party to a personal injury claim?  Also, can they receive settlement money for injuries and damages arising from the accident?

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately, yes.  If you caused an injury to someone you are liable for their claims regardless of their legal status. Your insurance company should be investigating the claim and will do an assessment of the claims and will attempt to settle the claims accordingly.
