Auto Insurance Claims: help, insurance comapny, new insurance

Hello, My girlfriend was at 4 way, and at a complete stop when driver to the left and right of her crossing one of them went out of turn they hit each other which spun vehicle into my girlfriends car, serious front end damage. Now unfortunately she just turned 25 so had dropped insurance month or so ago to price new one's, vehicle that hit her did not have insurance, police were there so there's accident. report,have witnesses but need direction on what to do or advice cause I feel like she's going to get the short end of the stick, any help would be great.Thanks.

Hi Justin,

First of all, yo should never drop your insurance while you look for other insurance. The law requires that you maintain insurance all the time. You should search for new insurance, apply for it and when it is approved then you cancell the old policy.

Your girl friend has no insurance on her vehicle so sh is going to have to wait to see if the one car that did have insurance is the one that is responsible for the accident. If they are then she can make a claim to that insurance comapny. If the car with no insurance was at fault for the accident the she will have to pursue the at fault driver directly which may require filing a law suit in order to collect anything.
