Auto Insurance Claims: car accident with permit, incurance company, legal reason

hi,
first of all english is my second language ,so please excuse any misspellings.
i just got here from germany and have a permit.so last friday i came from paying some bills ,because my husband just got a job out of staat ,i was driving by my self and was involved in a accident that was my fault. i hat to yield at the exit of the mall to the freeway,wich i did. after i saw a hugh gap i drove out the exit and was hit at that moment in my driverside and pushed into a nearby busstop. we have full incurance but i'am so worried that my incurance company maby denies my claim,because ther was no 21 and over passenger on my side . we are with usaa ,because my husbund just got out of the military i'am on the policy us a learner.thanks for any answer.

Hi Gabriele,
Please call USAA immediately and report the accident.  They will be required to cover the accident.  Under Insurance Law, they have no legal reasons to refuse coverage.  They are fully aware that you are listed on the policy as a driver with a permit.  The fact that you broke the law and drove without another driver over age 21 in the front seat is not sufficient legal reason to deny your claim.

You will suffer consequences under your state law.  You will probably be issued a citation for driving without someone over 21 in the front seat and the state may suspend your permit for up to 6 months.  If your permit is suspended, please DO NOT drive during that time period.
