Auto Insurance Claims: Obstructed stop sign question..., partial liability, stop sign

Question
My vehicle was hit by a woman who went through a stop sign.  She said that she did not see the stop sign.  The police report indicates that the stop sign was partially obstructed by untrimmed trees.  However, the accident report states that the woman was at fault for failing to yield to a stop sign.  She was not issued a ticket.  My question in, will her insurance company render her entirely at fault for the accident and liable for 100 percent of the damages?  Thank you.

Answer
If the stop sign was obstructed, then she is not totally at fault.  If her insurance company is on the ball, they will only accept partial liability.  Then you can file for the balance under your own policy and allow them to pursue the property owner.  You can also do this yourself if you wish, but if you are anything like me, life tends to get in the way.

Good luck to you!
