Auto Insurance Claims: car accident, juris doctor, hypothetical question

my boyfriend was driving the car with myself in the front and 4 children in the back.the car only seats 5.will this invalidate my insurance

I do not know, Jackie, since I do not have the policy to look at.  But you can call the agent who sells such policies nearby and ---- without identifying yourself --- ask as a hypothetical question whether or not that would invalidate insurance.

My guess is that it would NOT, especially since the overcrowding did not in any way impact his driving.
