Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: TAHOE 2004, defroster, tahoe

We replaced the battery in our 2004 Tahoe.  Once we did the air began blowing out of the defrost and is cool on the driver's side and hot on the passenger's side.  What do we do?  Is it the new battery?

Did this problem start immediately after replacement of the battery? If it did you can shut off all the a/c controls and try running the defroster again, or disconnect the battery and hook it up again then try the defroster and see if it works normal again. I know it doesn't sound like much but sometimes it works. I have to be honest I haven't encountered this problem before so my info is limited on this and I apologize for that. But I will run it by the mechanics I work with and see if they have any tips or info on it and I will let you know ASAP.
