Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 03 Ford Explorer heater issue., thermastat, cyl engine

Question
My '03 Ford Explorer is blowing cool to luck warm air out when the engine has been running for a while and is warm, blower is working on all settings and I have replaced the thermastat.  Can you give me an idea of what the origin of the problem is, how to diagnose, and how to fix.  It is a 4x4, with a 6 cyl. engine.

Thanks,

Chris Bair

Answer
Your problem is most likely a fault of the DAMPER DOOR of which is NOT opening all the way which is blocking the heat from the haeter core from the air ducts. Either the damper door is misadjusted or the controller is faulty at the damper door.
