Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: I have a Chevy Blazer 1996 I..., chevy blazer, electric cooling fan

Question
I have a Chevy Blazer 1996

I thought since it got cold it just took a while for the heater to warm up.

I just came back from a day trip 200 miles one way & realized I have no heat.

On the return I checked the hood of the car and found it to be as cold as the inside of the car.
I ran a solid 200 miles on the highway.... Any thoughts on what the problem could be?

I checked the fuse & it appears fine.

Also, could I be causing further damage by driving the vehicle cold?

Thanks for your help & direction!

Answer
I would concentrate on a possible stuck OPEN thermostat and or a (if electric) cooling fan that is running ALL THE TIME. If you have  astandard mechanical fan then I would check to be sure that the HYDRAULIC FAN CLUTCH is operating correctly.

Are BOTH heater hoses HOT to the touch ?.
