Auto body repair & detailing: 2002 VW Jetta, vw jetta, sir system

I have a 4 questions. 1. How do I remove the passenger side mirror from the door in order to replace it? 2. How do I remove the steering wheel air bag to replace it? 3. Do I have to take my vehicle in to a dealer in order to reset the airbag light once I get the new air bag on? 4. Where can I access the radio code to reset my radio? I can't find anywhere. Dealership said I had to bring my vehicle in to remove the radio and get some # from the back of the radio, then they could reset it.. Thanks for the help!

You're in over your head. Don't mess with your vehicles SIR system, it takes special tools and techniques to avoid damage to it, and avoid personal injury. The airbag contains 2 explosive charges, charges that can be accidentally set off with static electricity or a surge from your SIR deployment system. You need to go to the dealer to unlock the radio, the mirror is removed after removing the interior trim panel and accesing the screws on the back side.
