Auto body repair & detailing: What book value do adjusters look at to determine value., internet newspapers, luck mark

Question
I just wrecked my 2000 Dodge Durango SLT.  Whole front clip is gone, power steering, and dent to back passenger panel.  I haven't even talked with the adjuster yet, but wanted to know what book value do they use when determining the value of the vehicle.  I just don't want to be surprised.
Thanks.

Answer
Tammy-

The insurance companies usually use NADA. They also have other resources to determine value. Educate yourself as much as possible as to the realistic replacement value of your vehicle. Use the Internet, newspapers, etc. to find comparable examples. Good luck- Mark
