Auto body repair & detailing: 1966 Mustang coupe rear quarter window, mustang coupe, quarter window

Am restoring listed car and am having trouble with trying to figure out how to replace the rear quarter window assembly....seems as if I have to cut away metal from inside to get to cranks, etc, but has to be better way. any help appreciated. Thank you.

Usually you can raise or lower the glass to access the bolts it is possible that you may have to squeeze your hand into the opening with a wrench.I have in some instances cut access holes to get to hard to reach areas.Also if you have a vent in the door opening this also gets you in there as well.Be patient andonly take one side apart at a time.
