Auto body repair & detailing: Body Moulding, ponitac vibe, mr clean magic eraser

Question
Hello, my wife has a 2006 Ponitac Vibe with the lower body moulding on the sides.  When she gets out of the car, her shoe leaves marks on the moulding.  What can we use or do to get them out?  They don't look like deep scraches, more like marks from her shoes.

A very common problem, Don.  Usually it is the dyes, or sole material from the shoes leaving the marks.  A good strong cleaner scrubbed in with a yellow/green backing sponge will do a good job.  The abrasive green backing (you know the sponges I'm talking about right?) can get most of it out.  The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser also does a great job on things like this, but can sometimes leave a little dullness.
