Question
How do I remove the rear seat of a Mustang convertable?  
How do I change the driver side top raising cylinder?

Answer
You push on the bottom of the seat toward the back of the car or pound on it with your hand about 8" from the outside of your car. This removes the bottom seat then you will see some nuts or bolts for the seat back. on some later year Mustangs you have a little lever about 8" from the outside of your car and between the seat and carpet you just slide it over with a flat screw driver. As far as changing the cylinder it is a complicated operation. My best advice is to look at how you take it apart and reverse the process you will have the other side for a reference. There is fluid in them so be sure to have some towels to soak up the oil. Hope this helps!
