Auto body repair & detailing: auto paint job, auto paint, paint job

Question
brian,

it seems a lot of the autos, i'm seeing lately that have been restored, etc... some of the paint jobs actually have a very "wet" look to them.  almost like the paint on the car is still liquid... don't know how else to describe it other than just a very, very wet look ?

how do you get this look ?  is it the paint used or amount ?  the number of clear coats, the manner used to apply the paint/clear coat ?

thanks for your response...

Answer
The cars are clearcoated. most of these cars are buffed and waxed many times. Waxed at least once a week its a lot of upkeep to much for me. A local detail shop can help you very much with this gloss you are looking for.

                 Hope this helps
