Auto body repair & detailing: suspension damage?, jackstand, jackstands

Question
a few weeks ago, I was over at a friends house and he had his car up on a jack, and I told him to put under a jackstand because the car might go, and you guessed it, it went! We managed to get the jack back underneath the car and raise it back up. His question is could anything have been damaged? when the car fell off, the left front brakes and suspension hit the ground, fortunately the ground it hit was soft and just "dug in", it wasn't concrete or asphalt. any possible damage?
P.S. bought him a set of jackstands and told him next time he puts his car up to USE THEM!!
                          thank you

Answer
I do kot thing you may have done any damage to the vehicle. But take it in for an oil change and have the mecanic look for any apparent damage. It only cost around 20 bucks for an oil change.  The car could use one anyway right!  Hope this helps
