Auto body repair & detailing: front impact bar/absorber, impact absorber, pop rivets

Question
hello, I am putting a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire GT front bumper on my 1999 and I have to replace the front impact absorber/bumper myself. I have to drill out the pop rivets and install new ones, my question is, what pop rivet gun would you use to install these?, the reason I'm asking is in the absorber there is at least a 6" difference between the front (where the end of the gun goes) and the back(where the absorber gets attached to the impact bar.  Also, could I use a special type of screw instead of the pop rivets?  Please help, any assistance you can give me would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Answer
I cant legally tell you to put large threaded 13 mm bolts in the absorber beacuse G.M. didnt build them that way. But it worked for me.                Your local body shop shoul have a rivet gun called {bigdaddy} to put your or there rivets in. It shoulnt cost much $15.00 maybe.
