Question
working on a 57 chevy(4) four door ****Hard-top.*** how do i support the body so i can replace the rocker panels and the entire floor pan? also what would be a ball park figure to have this done by a body shop. thank you,al.

Answer
Al,
You do not have to support the body to do the rockers and floor pan, the frame itself supports the body.
If you have it off the frame and have it suspended, put the frame on wheels and keep sliding it under the body to check your work.   Any good GM dealership can give you all the demesions of your vehicle.  You can also check with a NAPA or Auto Zone for a repair and procedure book on that particular vehicle since it is in the top 20 of the most restored vehicles.
Thank you,
