my daughter has a maxima with a sunroof. when it rains very much it pools water and dumps on her when she first moves it. i know it has drains and i believe they are stopped up. what is the best way to open them and how to clean. i 've heard you can blow the tubes off if you use air too strong. i have a compressor if needed. thanks for your imput.

Answer
Sidney,
If it is a power sliding factory installed sunroof, you should take the vehicle to a body shop for repairs.  If it is added sunroof, not installed at the factory,  and is  manual opening, check the weatherstrip and seals to see if there are any tears.  If there aren't any,  blow air around the roof to clear of any water or dirt, then prep the outer area with alcohol.  Use masking tape to make a nice even gap around the sunroof's outer perimeter.  You will be sealing the outer perimeter with a seam sealer so using the tape makes a nice even edge all the way around.  Get a quality seam sealer from an auto parts store, like NAPA or Auto Zone.
Thank you,
