97 vw golf gti fuel pump isnt gettin power ive replaced the relay it didnt help its just not gettin power to it is there away i can run a different power wire to it so it will work?

    Sure, just run a hot lead from the pump to the relay box.  Use one of the other relays and it should work.  If it was me, though, I'd poke around and find out what's really wrong and fix it.  I assume you checked the fuse.  Some cars have a switch that cuts off the fuel if there's a collision or oil pressure failure (I don't know if this model VW does, but it would be worthwhile running it down).  And make sure the pump works on its own.
