sir,can i open the front part of the gauge? i like to clean
the glass part of the gauage,is it possible?thanks

Hello Art,

Unfortunately, no.  It is not possible to open the front part of your autometer oil pressure gauge to clean the glass.  The glass is held on by the black bezel on the front, which is pressed on by machiene.  The only way to open it to clean it would be to cut the bezel and pull it off, but then you wont be able to put it back on.

If the glass is truly that dirty that it requires cleaning, i recommend you send it back to the manufacturer for cleaning and service, they will be able to open it, clean it and put on a new bezel without voiding your warranty or breaking the unit itself.  The information for the manufacturer is listed below.
